Problem
Under the slab foundation of an older home we found a cast iron sewer
line that had root intrusion at a joint. We had used a root killer and
Roto-Rooter machine on a regular basis but it still created a catch point
for waste. When the system would back up it would flood the basement
apartment creating a major mess.
Solution
Roto-Rooter uses the
Perma-Liner
Small Diameter Repair kit to provide a CIPP (Cure In Place Pipe)
repair for the damage area. After cleaning the area and inspecting closely
with our sewer camera we used the Perma-Liner system to install short
patches. This allowed us to repair the pipe without cutting concrete,
tearing out the kitchen floor and digging up the foundation. |
