About Roto-Rooter

Roto-Rooter Corporation - The Roto-Rooter machine and company was established in 1935 with the invention of a unique sewer and drain cleaning machine. Roto-Rooter Company then established a template that could be carried to our customers by neighborhood business owners instead of a large corporation.

Roto-Rooter's of Northeast Alabama, were started back in 1963 when David Tierce brought the vision to Alabama. In 2002, Mazama Services LLC acquired the franchises for Marshall and Etowah counties. Then in 2003, Mazama Services acquired the franchise for Jackson county to provide a higher level of service to our neighbors. In 2006, we extended our septic and grease trap pumping service to Blount, Jefferson, St Clair, Tuscaloosa and Shelby counties working as a sub contractor to Roto-Rooter Plumbers out of Birmingham. In 2007 we acquired the franchises for Calhoun, Clay and Talladega counties with an office in Eastaboga (Do you know where Eastaboga is?). Recently we added the franchise for DeKalb and Cherokee counties and opened our newest office in Fort Payne.

Mazama Services LLC doing business as Roto-Rooter Plumbers provides Plumbing, Drain Cleaning and Septic services to the neighborhoods of Jackson, DeKalb, Marshall, Etowah, Cherokee, Calhoun, Talladega, and Clay counties. We offer advanced services to our customers including line location, camera inspection, trenchless sewer line replacement, and high pressure jetting in addition to the normal plumbing, drain cleaning and septic services. Our team of plumbers includes Alabama Plumbers and Gas Fitter board approved apprentice to master level. In addition we are bonded and licensed under the Alabama Onsite Wastewater Board for Advanced Septic System Installation Level 2 and Pumping.
